Intro

Rob Marino has been a professor of Communications at the College of Central Florida since 2004. He is also the college’s faculty adviser to its student newspaper, the Patriot Press.

Since Marino became adviser, the Patriot Press has twice placed among the top six schools nationally at the ACP/CMA fall college media convention and has placed among the top three papers among Florida community college every year for the last six years.

In addition, he is former president of the Florida College System Publications Association (FSCPA) and a committee chair for College Media Advisers (CMA) and Associated Collegiate Press (ACP). He has also presented sessions at ACP/CMA conventions.

Marino also teaches as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Florida, where he holds B.S. and M.A. degrees.
