MMC 1000 update — week of Sept. 20-Oct. 2

For your tumblr blog this week, please read the Close-Up On Controversy (p. 204 of new text) section from Ch. 7 of the Rodman textbook.

The sidebar deals with the ongoing issue of illegal downloading of music, particularly its prevalence among college-aged students.

For your text, I’d like you to address issues like if you feel like illegal downloading is a major poblem in society and if you know of anyone who illegally downloads songs (and of so, how do they do it).

Then, I’d like you to offer any solutions. Are ITunes the only viable option? How would you police/enforce this type of practice?
